Missions & Outreach At Covenant Baptist Church

From the very beginning, Missions and Outreach have been defining aspects of the ministry of Covenant Baptist Church. Covenant’s local missions activities include: partnership with Gastonia Street Ministry to prepare and serve meals (along with providing other necessities) to people without shelter, maintaining the Little Food Pantry on site for those in need of food, the Handyman ministry to assist community members with home repair, partnership with Gardner Park Elementary to serve children through special events, and more.

In addition, Covenant Baptist missions also includes monetary/physical donations to organizations such as: Africa Inland Mission, Baptist Children’s Homes, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Displaced Roses, as well as others. Special offerings, such as the Global Missions Offering and CBF North Carolina Missions Offering, are also promoted throughout the year.

As part of our outreach to the community, Covenant Baptist: partners with Ashbrook High to host the football team banquet, provides breakfast to Gardner Park Elementary school staff at the start of the school year, hosts a spring festival, and more.
